Coalition of civil society which incorporated in the Freedom of Information Network Indonesia (FOINI) will hold working meeting evaluation and preparation of work plans, on January 15th – 17th, 2014 in Jakarta.

FoINI Coordinator, Budi Rahardjo, said there are three objectives of this working meeting. First, to evaluate the work plan and roadmap of FOINI which has produced in May 2012, establishing coordination mechanisms and FoINI institutional, and preparing work prioritize of FOINI 2014-2015 based on challenges and recently achievements.

On the 1st day, there will be two panel discussions featuring presentation of the speaker from the Corruption Eradication Commission, Election Commission, National Development Planning Agency and Central Information Commission.

On the 2nd day, reflecting the implementation of the Freedom of Information Law and openness initiatives outside the implementation of Freedom of Information Law. At this stage, there will be displayed a presentation of the work of FoINI based on roadmap 2012-2015, then followed by a discussion to obtain clarification, confirmation, etc. This process is expected to emerge from the records of evaluation and for prioritizing work of FOINI in 2014-2015.

On the 3rd day, it will be held a discussion on FoINI achievement: identification of constraints, challenges and opportunities in the implementation of the roadmap along with issues based on recent developments. This discussion is based on the FoINI achievement based on the roadmap. This discussion also set some issues that will be brought into discussion groups for example OGP and OGI groups, public body policies group, FoINI institutional.

The event will held at the Sofyan Betawi Hotel, on Cut Mutia Street No. 9, Menteng, Jakarta. The discussion will be facilitated by Ahmad Alam Saragih, former Chairman of the Central Information Commission with 50 participants consisting of FoINI members and invitations.
