The price increase of non-subsidized LPG size 12 kg unilaterally by Pertamina led to various allegations. Labour Union Federation (FSPBB) highlights the lack of transparency regarding the cost of production of non-subsidized LPG 12 kg.
Presidium Chairman of FSPBB Arie Poyuono mentioned, they will use Freedom of Information Law to urge Pertamina to open the LPG production costs. Since, Pertamina is the state-owned enterprises which belong to the Law No. 14 of 2008 on Freedom of Information Law.
“They should provide information to the public related to the production costs of non-subsidized LPG, gas supply, gas distributors and trade system,” said Arief in Cikini area, Jakarta, on Sunday (January 5th, 2014).
FSPBB also sent a letter to Pertamina, the Minister of Energy and Minister of State Enterprises Minister to ask for information related to the price increase of non-subsidized LPG 12 kg.
