Based on the Law No. 14 of 2008 on Openness, PSSI (Indonesian Football Association) is a public agency that is inevitably tied to the law.

And as a public agency, every person has the right to ask for openness, especially related to the use of funds that received, either it government funding, individual donations, sponsorships, or donations from abroad.

Transparency of information that requested to PSSI is the use of funds related to broadcasting rights. As we know, the people cannot get the information practically, how the nominal funds received broadcasting rights by the PSSI, and for any use of funds broadcasting rights.

PSSI should model the football federation of another country, who always report the received of funds of their rights, either it for competition rights or national team matches rights.

In the year 2014, indicated that a lot of rights received by the PSSI. Some of them are broadcasting right of archipelago tour U-19 national team vol. 1 and 2 by SCTV, broadcasting right of the U-23 national team at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, broadcasting right of Cotiff tournament in Spain, broadcasting right of Senior National Team trials matches, and the AFF Cup broadcasting right in 2014.

Public only got once nominal information of the broadcasting rights, which unfortunately is not obtained from the relevant parties in the PSSI, but from the U-19 national team coach. In public lecture at Airlangga University, November 30th, 2013, U-19 national team coach Indra Sjafrie states “SCTV, National private television had purchased broadcasting rights of the U-19 national team for IDR 30 billion.”

It just was that, information about the broadcasting rights of football team which is publicly.

Therefore, the petition is submitted to the PSSI and the Board of the National Team to open transparency of information and the use of funds for the team broadcasting rights in all national team age groups.

Come on, let us support this petition because as football fans, as one of the stakeholders of Indonesian football, we want PSSI to be able to manage and take care of Indonesian football better, in order to perform as high as possible. [Change.org]
