Jakarta – Joint meeting between Minister for Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Maritime will discuss a lot of things. One of them is the transparency of marine data to the public.
“We’ve been searching small fishermen, nice coast. I’ve got the data of large ships that now being big issue,” said Minister of Maritime and Fisheries Affairs Susi Pudjiastuti in the Economic Affairs Office on Tuesday (October 28th, 2014).
“We have to be soft, I ask all the data from the KKP, ship data, program, and budget so that we can publish so it could be publicly owned, so the public can keep an eye on these,” said Susi.
She explained that she already had the data of large ships which now becoming big issue, and it must be solved.
“This big issue was created by reporters, we should be solved,” said Susi. (wdi)
