West Bangka – Zulfitri Ramli, chairman of the West Bangka chapter of the National Committee of Indonesian Youth (KNPI), lamented Regional Employment Agency (BKD) head Ismanto’s refusal to comment on the plan to auction the position of Regional Secretary.
According to Zulfitri, the announcement regarding the auction has been published in several media.
Zulfitri continued that as a public official, Ismanto should uphold public information openness as stipulated in Law No. 14/2008 about public information openness. Moreover, information on position auction is the authority of Ismanto the head of BKD.
“Ismanto should be open in providing information because it is for public interest and already regulated by the law which requires every public body to provide access to public information,” said Zulfitri on Monday (24/10/2016).
